Interior Design Showroom Sales Support for Fabrics, Wallcoverings, and Carpets
Location: St. Louis and Kansas City
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team as an Interior Design Showroom Sales Support. In this role, you will provide essential support to our Textile and Rug Departments’ sales teams by assisting designers with pricing, stock availability, and order processing. If you’re passionate about interior design and have a keen eye for detail, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a creative and fast-paced environment.

With locations in St. Louis and Kansas City, KDR Designer Showrooms delivers the world of interiors to the doorsteps of designers, architects and homeowners. Keeping your standards and style in mind, we’ve carefully selected a collection of lines, ranging from renowned, iconic brands, to small, artisan-run companies specializing in residential and commercial interiors products.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the inside and outside sales teams to provide designers with timely processing of orders and other inquiries.
• Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, availability, lead times, and order status via phone, email, or in-person at the showroom.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products as to better assist designers.
• Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and follow-up. You will learn many vendor websites and internal program operations to aid in order entry.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in sales support, retail, or customer service, preferably in the interior design or home furnishings industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be adaptable to an ever-changing environment.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general website functions is a must.
• Must be technologically inclined.
• An associate’s degree in interior design or a similar field is required.
• Must be located in St. Louis or Kansas City
